PCGS 1857 flying eagle cent struck 20% off-center. A rare, major off-center flying eagle cent, with very few known. Even minor off-center flying eagle cents are rare, and examples such as this one only come along for sale every decade or so.

The rarity largely stems from the higher quality control in U.S. mints in the 1800's, and specifically for the flying eagle cent it was only a 3 year design, and so the opportunity for errors to occur on this design was short lived.

VG8 with pleasing, problem-free surfaces.
