PCGS 1918 standing liberty quarter double-struck in collar, with the coin struck normally on the first strike, then partially ejected from the collar and struck a 2nd time. The coin has two sets of reeding around the edge, and also there is doubling of some of the lettering on the reverse.
Double-struck standing quarters are extremely rare, with few known--this is the first example we have stocked. They are very tough to find for sale.
AU details cleaned. The coin has light gray surfaces, and has subdued luster. There is a thin scratch on the obverse, but it is largely hidden in the design.
