1c 1968-D Lincoln Cent Reverse Struck Through Split Planchet MS-65 BN

The coin's reverse is struck through the "smooth" side of a split planchet. There are subtle raised areas, which were caused by the contact marks in the smooth side of the split planchet. Also, the strike is glossy, and evenly weak across the surfaces, all of which prove it was struck through a split planchet. The coin weighs 3.1 grams. MS-65 BN
