NGC 197X Lincoln Memorial cent struck on a steel washer. The washer is smaller than a cent, and has the hole in the center. It is steel and weighs only 1.2 grams--far less than a normal cent.
Cents on washers are extremely rare, with probably less than 10 existing. They are one of the rarest and most dramatic in appearance major mint error types, with the iconic appearance that is easily recognized. Needless to say, this is a rare opportunity to own one of these.
The coin is from a major mint error collection--these do not often come on the market!
MS66 with lustrous surfaces. A beautiful example.
