50c 1925 Vancouver Half Dollar Partial Collar Strike AU-55

Strong partial collar strike on the edge, with approximately half the reeding missing around the coin's entire edge. It occurred due to the coin's having been struck partially out of collar, allowing part of the coin to expand beyond its normal diameter and only receiving an impression of the reeding on part of its edge. A very rare error type on commemoratives, and only a very few major errors like this are known on classic commemoratives.

AU-55 and lightly cleaned, although it has toned a great deal so that it's not very noticeable.
