NGC 2013 silver maple leaf 1 ounce coin partial collar strike. This is much more than a normal partial collar, with a massive, high finned rim from about 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock. The finning is nearly as high as the thickness of the coin itself, and so it very dramatic in appearance.
This is far and away the most dramatic silver maple leaf error we’ve ever had in stock, and few errors are known for this design as the Royal Canadian Mint takes great care in their minting.
MS61 with some light hairlines account for the lower grade. Probably someone kept it as an "oddity" to show people before they eventually realized it's rarity and value.
