This 1950 wheat cent is struck on a silver Roosevelt dime planchet. The coin is the weight of a silver dime, metal, and also is smaller than a cent. This is a rare date for cents on dimes, and the first I’ve heard of (so there’s probably only a few known, if that, for the date/mint.)
NGC AU details with some light scratches on the obverse (looks like the coin was scuffed up against something, and they aren’t really “scratches” but more scuff marks. Great luster and attractive golden toning.
