The U.S Government was striking coins for the Philippines for many years including 1959. This error occurred when a 10 centavo planchet was fed into a press striking 1959 Lincoln cents. The result is a coin with the design of a cent but the planchet of a 10 centavo. A slight gold/steel color, the coin is noticeably a different color from a normal Lincoln cent. Very scarce off-metal!
NGC MS-61 with lustrous surfaces and no problems. The coin has the eye-appeal of an MS-64.
