NGC 1971 Lincoln cent struck on a clad Roosevelt dime blank. The coin is the weight and metal of a dime, and is smaller than a normal cent since a dime planchet is smaller than a cent's is. A scarcer date for cents on dime blank's. The strike is slightly weak due to the blank not having an upset rim, and it is likely the blank was never annealed, making it extra hard and so difficult to strike up fully.
NGC did not grade the coin due to the weak strike, but we grade the coin MS-63
