NGC 1c Indian Cent Counterbrockage & Clashed Cap Strike VF-30

NGC Indian cent counterbrockage and clashed cap strike, with the indian's headdress visible on the right-hand side of the coin, as well as the indian's neck and lower chin at the 6 o'clock position.

Over the top of that counterbrockage is the clashed cap strike, with mostly the reverse central design elements visible in the brockage, but also some of the left side of the wreath. We have seen only one other example of a counterbrockage and clashed cap strike on an indian cent--a very rare error type for the series.

NGC did not note the error combination on the holder, but only described the coin as "obverse struck through capped die."
