1999-P Pennsylvania quarter multi-struck 2-coin bonded pair. The obverse side is a huge double-strike which is then bonded to a reverse die cap. The coins were struck together multiple-times, which resulted in them bonding together. This is the only bonded Pennsylvania quarter we know of, and there are only a very few bonded state quarters known for the entire series (probably less than 5 or 6.) Very dramatic looking, and this coin would be the centerpiece of all but the finest state quarter error collections. Because of the coin's large size, it is housed in a oversized NGC holder.
