1978-D Kennedy half wrong planchet error, struck on a clad quarter planchet. The planchet is a blank (no upset rim), which results in a more flat rim around the coin. Great looking example of this error type, with the planchet well-centered and with goo eye-appeal.
NGC MS-63 with lustrous white surfaces. Note: there is a light scratch on the slab on the obverse, and it is not on the coin.
