This is an 1882 shield nickel which is struck through a late stage die cap, with a silhouette of the obverse shield design and the reverse "5" visible on the coin's reverse. There is also a small cud at 11 O'Clock on the reverse under the cap strike. Very rare to find shield nickels struck through die caps!
NGC MS-63 with a hint of gold toning.
