NGC 1943-S silver war nickel which is struck through a struck fragment, creating a perfect mirror brockage in the struck thru areas on the coin's reverse. The brockage is of the top of Jefferson's head, with the brockage corresponding perfectly with the design on the obverse side (they are directly opposite each other.)

The error occurred when a fragment of nickel planchet was struck, and stuck to the reverse die. This coin's planchet was then fed into the press and was struck on top of it, creating a perfect mirror brockage of the obverse in the struck thru areas on the coin's reverse.
