Struck through a clad layer across 50% of the coin's obverse. The clad layer came from another coin, and was struck into this coin's obverse. A very rare error type on SBA dollars, and probably the 2nd or 3rd we've ever had. Much more rare than missing clad layer SBAs. This is a perfect example as well due to the placement of the clad layer strike-through, which is right in front of Susan's face.
