PCGS 1951-D Lincoln cent struck on a dime planchet. The coin is struck on a silver 2.5 gram dime planchet, which was intended for striking into a Roosevelt dime.
A scarce date and mint for cent on dime planchets, with few known for this year.
MS62 with nice luster and light gold toning. There are small bits of debris, possibly copper or hardened grease, struck into the coin's obverse (which are the small bits of metal visible across the obverse.)
