PCGS 2000-P Jefferson nickel struck on a 1978 dated Lincoln cent. This is a rare dual date double-denomination with the two dates 22 years apart!
The coin’s 1978 is not strong, but is still readily visible under a loup or when viewed in hand, just behind Jefferson’s head. As a dual date this far apart, it is quite rare, with very few known with dates this far apart (maybe 5 or 6?) An opportunity to own a dual date double-denomination that is nicer than most.
MS65 Red/Brown with medium-brown surfaces, and nice luster under the toning.
