PCGS 25c 1999-P Georgia Quarter Double-Denomination on Struck Nickel MS-64

1999-P Georgia quarter double-denomination struck on a Jefferson nickel. Although faint, much of the nickel's obverse and to a lesser extent the reverse design are visible under a magnifier. Virtually all quarters struck on Jefferson nickels show only minimal nickel design, and so it is extremely unusual to find any with more than minor amounts of design showing. This coin is unique for the series, being the only Georgia quarter double-denomination on nickel known. An incredibly rare coin, and it probably will not reappear for decades once it disappears into someone's collection!
