PCGS 5c 1919 Buffalo Nickel Broadstruck on T-1 Blank MS-63

SOLD

This 1919 buffalo nickel is broadstruck on a blank (no upset rim.)

A broadstrike occurs when a coin is struck outside of the collar die, which results in the coin expanding beyond its normal size or diameter. The coin will not have any edge devices since it was struck out of collar, and therefore did not receive a “strike” from the collar die.
