PCGS 5c 1935 Buffalo Nickel Struck 10% Off-Center MS-62

SOLD

1935 buffalo nickel struck 10% off-center. One of the most available dates for off-center buffalo nickels, and so also more affordable.

An off-center occurs when the planchet is improperly fed into the minting press, and instead of being placed in the collar and between the dies, it is instead positioned only partially between the dies. When it is struck, the resulting coin will have only part of the design showing and part "off-center", and will have little or no edge devices.
