This 1935-D buffalo nickel is a rotated double-strike in-collar, with a 180-degree rotation between strikes. The error occurred when the coin was struck twice, with the coin rotating 180 degrees between strikes. A rare error type on buffalo nickels.
The coin is well worn, but the underlying double-strike is still very obvious, with toning off-setting two strikes nicely. There are also two "1935" dates visible, which add to the coin's appeal. A more affordable but still desirable example of a double-struck buffalo nickel.
