PCGS 1977-S proof Jefferson nickel off-metal struck on a cent planchet. The coin is copper and smaller than a normal nickel. It has brilliant proof surfaces, and moderately frosted design on the obverse, and quite heavily frosted reverse design.
A beautiful off-metal with the obvious different in metals, since it is a nickel coin struck on the different copper metal, and a nice grade. Scarce.
PR66 Red/Brown with moderate blue-rose toning.
